The first milestone passed. That's 15.2 pounds gone, and the loss of over a stone since the start. There's the chance of another important event this week, with just 0.3lbs to go to drop below 300lb. That shouldn't hopefully prove a problem, I mean, a decent haircut would probably account for it!
Also, 4% less body fat, and a reduction of 3.5 on the BMI scale. This is good news and good work. Not of course forgetting good support for Kev from you lot, both through this site and WLR

Hi there, sounds silly I know but I am having great difficulty getting organised at home with any proper meals, whether it be breakfast, lunch or dinner? I just simply am not managing to get into any good eating habits. The thing is, because I am not eating any meals at home, I'm finding myself eating out mostly & with funds still tight it is also difficult to eat a well balanced meal cheaply, in fact it is very hard to eat out cheaply, full stop! Had some Chinese take away last night, egg fried rice with 1/2 a portion of sweet n sour chicken + a bag of prawn crackers thrown in.
Actually, I did find it quite filling, but no doubt it was all too fattening & the overall cost could have bought a home cooked meal for all the Family? got to work out a better way & will need to find one soon.

Some will have noticed there was no update of weight this week. This is because workload has been immense and have been all around the country either walking long distances or driving around in 7.5 ton lorries and loading and unloading them.
Such activity does not help on the diet front, but any eating misdemeanours may have been offset by the amount of physical activity involved. (Vain hope!).
Tomorrow will see the weigh in and then it's back to knuckling down as day to day life normalises once again.

Driving round the country this week Kev noticed that on the McDonalds drivethrough board it said "Go large for 30p".
He's most put out. It's cost him a heck of a lot more that 30p to get to the size he is!!!!

just a quick post to let you know that I am now starting to diary my food/drink consumption on a daily basis, it is a very big diary!

Hi there everyone, just wanted to let you all know that despite what I have thought was a slow start to my 100lb challenge, my Dietmeister (Dave) informs me that I have actually lost around 12lb's since starting the challenge. "I don't believe it" I hear you all saying, well it's true, you know what they say 'the scales never lie' even if I do about how much I've eaten! looking forward to an exciting March, aiming to get out those sponsor forms to you all.

Well, true, it's a little more than a month because of work travelling last week. So, weight loss to date is an ounce away from 12 pounds. BMI is down, body fat % is down. Over the next couple of days the body statistics will also be posted.
This is a good start. Not dynamic, but steady(ish) when the weeks are averaged out. But "slow but steady" is the way to get the weight off and keep it off.
Now, rather like audience participation in making Tinkerbelle appear in Peter Pan, if we all shout really loud, Kevin himself might make a post! Altogether now, "we want Kevin, we want Kevin"!
