Contrary to public belief Kev has not wasted away to nothing, just busy on the work front. We have had the weigh in last Monday. Slight panic ensued as a weight gain of 4lbs was intimated. Suspicions were aroused when an extra 2 inches were added to his height. Off to another machine we knew to be reliable, and whilst there was a gain for last week, and there had been a couple or more lapses on the food intake front, it ended up being just short of a pound.

News so far this week is that strict adherence is being followed. Better news with the next weigh-in one hopes.

So the scales have spoken, and they say a 2lb loss for the week.

Coming up to the end of week 2. Not been quite as good as last week, but there have been two family celebrations to attend. The scales will hold the answer tomorrow!!!!!

The Weight Loss Resources website is a goldmine of information for those who are trying to lose weight. Support forums, databases of nutritional information for foods including brands, a daily food diary and more besides.

O.K. it has a subscription, but probably less per month than what was being spent on junkfood or chocolate etc for those who use it before their diet started.

The first weeks results are in and it's a loss of 8lbs!!!!!!!! It would also of helped if I'd realised the start weight was 316lbs (22st 8lb) rather than 312lbs. Still, I can blame the calculator for that. So at that rate only another 13 weeks to go!

As if.
